Why the Poconos Specifically

Short-term rental properties in the Pocono lake corridor deal with a specific set of exterior cleaning challenges:

Heavy biological growth between guest seasons. Properties that sit empty in November through April accumulate algae, mold, and mildew on siding, decks, and walkways faster than occupied homes — no one is noticing, no one is addressing it, and the biology thrives in the cold-wet-warm cycle that runs through a Monroe County winter. The post-season window is September through October — after peak guest traffic and before the gutters fill with fall leaf drop. Post-season cleaning addresses the wear from a full summer of guest use: deck traffic staining, pollen and algae on siding, gutters that need clearing before they freeze.

Post-season exterior cleaning also prepares a property for fall and winter real-estate listings. Curb appeal matters for rental listings as well as for sale listings — fresh photos of a clean exterior after a September cleaning extend the visual life of your listing photos by a full year.
