Gutter Cleaning — Pocono Lake, PA

The Poconos drops enough leaves and pine needles to block gutters every season. Blocked gutters send water behind your siding and into your foundation.

The Pocono lake communities sit in one of the most heavily wooded corridors in Monroe County. Mature oaks, maples, and pines drop leaves, seed clusters, and pine needles into gutters from September through November — and by spring, what didn't blow out has compacted into a mat that water can't move through.

Blocked gutters send water exactly where you do not want it: behind the fascia board, over the edge onto the foundation, and into the gap between your siding and the wall sheathing. That moisture damage shows up in your basement, in your foundation, in your siding seams — usually months after the gutters caused it.

Connor Cox clears gutters across Pocono Lake, Blakeslee, Tobyhanna, and the surrounding communities. Call or text: (570) 599-1877.

What Gutter Cleaning Includes

Connor clears debris from the gutter troughs by hand and by flush — leaves, seed pods, pine needles, granule buildup from the roof, and the compacted mat at the bottom of channels that fills with organic matter over years. Downspouts are flushed to confirm they're running clear.

He checks gutter attachment points and slope while he's up there. If a gutter section has pulled away from the fascia or has a sag that's pooling water instead of directing it to the downspout, he'll tell you. Proactive communication is something customers mention specifically — one reviewer noted he "proactively pointed out a potential gutter issue we should keep an eye on — shows he genuinely cares about his work and his customers." That's how every job works.

When to Schedule

Fall (October–November) is peak season for gutter cleaning in the Pocono lake corridor. Most of the leaf drop happens in a four-to-six-week window — schedule after the majority of leaves are down but before hard freezes.

Spring (March–April) is the second season. Winter debris, seed cases, and anything that froze into the gutters over winter needs to clear before spring rain. If your gutters were not cleaned in fall, spring cleaning prevents the worst of the runoff damage.

If you are a vacation homeowner or STR property manager and your property sits empty during fall and winter, spring cleaning is not optional — it's how you find out what the gutters collected while no one was watching.

Gutter Cleaning and Soft Washing Together

Gutters cleaned before or after a house soft wash make the most sense — you are already dealing with the exterior. Ask Connor about bundling both services. The gutter flush after a house wash also confirms the downspouts are clear of any debris disturbed during the siding wash.
